Companies cutting back

Is there any other members out there who work for a company, which suddenly would appear not all that stable, or indeed has made staff redundant?

Yes, i did. We had a wage cut, then had to fuel up in the yard as our fuel cards didn’t work etc. etc… and it seemed that every Monday when we turned in there was a few more ‘redundancies’ announced. They survived ok and are still going, i left of my own accord.

Yes! A company with red and green livery! :unamused:

Nope, our boss is still in Abu bloody Dabi after watching the F1 on the weekend.

The first sign as a tanker driver is when you pull into a cleaning bay, the manager runs out to ask if you are paying cash :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

If they are featured in any of the trade press, the company normally only lasts 18 months longer, and it seems as though any company who takes over a contract and buys new motors to fulfil that contract seem to be insolvent within the year. :smiling_imp:
