Just thinking, how long is your commute to work?
The job I’ve applied for has a 30 min commute. 5-10 more than the admin job I’ve got now.

When I was based at Exeter, I could do the commute to the yard in about 1 1/2 hous. They transfered me to Barnstaple which is 5 miles closer in milage but the commute took nearer 2 hours. (once a week as tramping)
This was one of the factors in my decision to call it quits.
Got casual work lined up and the yard is about 10 mins from home
I would go up to half hour away, think any more is taking the ■■■■ unless its a really well paid job. Used to be 5 mins from last job was glorious leaving 10 mins before shift and still clocking in before time ![]()
'Bout 35 mins twice each week, tramping.
Doing UK pallets nights same every day so I’m up about £40/week on the petrol ![]()
