Comedians

Who do you prefer, who have you seen, who can’t you stand?

I’ve seen Adam Hills live in Colchester 3-4 years back - extremely funny, and good for a chat.

Michael McIntyre at the O2 a couple if years ago, again very funny, but not keen on huge venues like that.

On the radio, Kerry Godliman, Susan Calman, David Sedaris,

Also Andy parsons, jack Whitehall, and lee mack ( off to see him in December)

Oh, and the top one, the one I’d love to sit and have a beer with:

Our very own Toby!

i like kevin bridges and mickey flanaghan at the moment

Forgot about Micky Flanagan - excellent. ‘Im not going out out, I’m just going out’. I live his routine about the anxious parents waiting at home while their daughter goes out with her new boyfriend - ‘you ain’t gotta worry, we brought her up proper. You know she’ll only be getting fingered on the first date!’

Rhod Gilbert. A man that gets annoyed by so many things, that he must have a HGV licence

Rhod Gilbert. A man that gets annoyed by so many things, that he must have a HGV licence

Saw him in the comedy store, Leicester Square, about 6 or 7 years ago, brilliant night out, (where I first heard him do the suitcase handle on the carousal joke) not too expensive & you could buy jugs of beer to save you keep going to the bar, which was dangerous, because if the comedian spotted you moving around going to the bar or bogs, you got hammered ! Lol.

Really like KeV Bridges, Michael McIntyre, John Bishop, Micky Flanighan, Dave (or Paul) Chowdry,

I really don’t like Lee Evans or Alan Carr

As above, Rhod Gilbert. You gotta admire a man who is so angry with the world. I also really rate Eddie Izzard. I once watched on of his routines that he did totally in French, and despite me only speaking schoolboy French he still made it hilarious. Genius.

I like Jack Dee as well as most of the above, but by far the best live commedian I’ve ever seen was the late Bob Monkhouse.

All the ones ready said and Russell howard and my self of course

Oh nearly forgot, Russell Brand… Hilarious lol I know he is like Marmite lol

I like the unusual or plain silly styles of comic delivery. Andrew Lawrence, Reggie Watts, Bill Hicks, Tim Vine, Sean Lock, Josh Widdecombe etc, etc…Women struggle to make a name in comedy, but Sara Pascoe and Roisin Murphy are pretty funny.

Thanks for the compliment Scaniason.
I saw Lee Evans.Thought he was good.

Micky Flanagan’s my favourite at the moment. Also like Lee Mack, Frankie Boyle, Stewart Francis and Tim Vine. Can’t stand Russell Howard.

Stuart Lee
Frankie Boyle
Not strictly a comedian, but a big fan of Tim Minchin
Jimmy Carr could be a class writer for someone else. Just can’t bear the sound of his voice and that ridiculous “laugh” of his.
Kevin Bridges also very good

so far i’ve been to see mickey flanagan, john bishop, lee evans, jason manford and frankie boyle. best gig of the lot was mickey flanagans funny as… worst was frankie boyle at the assembly rooms derby if you got up and went for a ■■■■ halfway through his gig you wasn’t aloud back in! also his warm up act was better than him. some canadian guy

I’ve seen Dara o’briain and Jason Manford.
Also i like,
Lee Evens
Micky Flannagan
Michael Mcintyre
John Bishop
Shappi Khorsandi
Sarah Millican
Kevin Bridges
Dave Allen
Jack Whitehall
Paddy Mcguiness
Peter Kay
Nina Conti
Keith Lemon
Bradley Walsh
Brendan o’carrol
Alan Carr

The others don’t cut the mustard
