Hiya its basicly a commer TS3, a pal of mine used to own the chassis. the rest is a master piece.
John
I’m guessing the “KR” on the radiator is a red herring because it’s also sign written on the cab.
Its obviously a UK registered truck but the “herman” could be a clue so I’m guessing something Germanic like a Hanomag Henshel.
Cab actually looks a little like a pre 110/140 Scania but fairly certain it’s not.

Ha, Johns post wasn’t there when I started typing mine.
Wrong again then, well I’d best get used to it as I’m heading home later on tonight.

Good work there I would never have got GAZ!. I initially thought IFA,but they don’t have the little windows at the side of the windscreen. The cab does look similar, though.
Hiya. be told its a commer TS 3 chassis with a ■■■■■■■ engine with that modified russian cab.the name hermon
is after hermon monster…bits of everything bloted or welded together.
go to google and type in Walsh brother’s manchester they have their own site about the jobs they,ve done.

Hiya have you looked on the walsh site. that cab was a left ■■■■■■ now on the right, the cab tilts where the russian cab did’nt.
the chassis stuck out from under the cab. the lads made panels to bring the cab out wards. then the chrome grill was made
and the surround. the site is worth a visit.

I reckon Walshes have now sold the truck as I spotted it at Bell Bridge Garage on the A38 near Fradley last week with the signwriting scrubbed out.
