I got asked to find out about a truck for a friend on
another site that i use,as he had seen one on
these trucks on the autobahn in Germany,so
after putting it on the other site,I thought that
i would share it with you,The first truck was
brought out many years ago,and was in the
truck mags it also went across to the USA
and did a promotion tour, have a look as it
a DESIGN that has beenaround for a long
time but is even now still futuristic ,

I think it was an Italian proto-type brought out years ago. The driver sits in the centre…( crap )

I’m sure I saw one of these, pulling a TNT trailer in Germany. It was heading south on the A45.
This was several months ago, I forgot all about it untill I saw that article.
I’ve seen that truck, or trucks, several times in Germany. The last time I saw one it was on the A3, northbound, between Franfurt and Koln.
So if your sitting in the middle,you will have to do a blindside reverse everytime you want to go backwards, a lot of thoughts go into that hasnt it,should completly put anybody off getting there class1 when they come on the road
The vehicles are equipped with the latest
safety features and the one which came
out first was fitted with a reverseing
camerea system as are the latest, this
goes for the blind spota as well .

i am pos i seen a black one in dover dock a long time ago . and yes in the customs . backed on to a bay . i think it was the first time thay seen one as well thay was all over it .
Didn’t Mercedes have something very similar looking as a concept a few years ago?.
I seem to remember it having the wipers arranged in a three pointed star shape across the screen.

the first truck was based on a Mercedes,
but was not a merdcedes project the
desginer and builder was COLANI
read the linled site,itis a good site,
whilst looking around for a LHD tractor, spotted something at www.avg-trucks.de - won’t be parting with £80K though - can’t get a 65te plate on it
