Cockwombles charter

So, as a professional driver you should avoid a collision, even if it isn’t you who caused it.

Trouble is, it just encourages people to drive like cockwombles.

So, TNCSI, who was in the wrong?

It’s much like the M5 truck vs caravan one, two drivers behaving like knobs.

Lame!

The trucker should worry about how many abo prostitute’s he’s planning on killing that night, and just let the car in! :sunglasses:

Wagon driver at fault. No need for the collision at all. Car is ahead of the wagon and signalling his/her intentions.

If it was a bullying prick flying down a slip road expecting to force their way onto a motorway I would see it differently.

There’s a time to stand your ground and that wasn’t it the car was already in front but you don’t see what led up to the incident, maybe he was just having a ■■■■ day and this was the last straw

Let him in - Lose between 1-3 seconds on your day
Smash into him - spend an hour filling out and accident report

I always choose the 1st option.

Come on that happens to us all everyday and yes it does ■■■■ you off but you just have to ignore it and accept the fact ppl are gonna do that… a squint of the eye and a shake of the head would of been sufficient there

Doesn’t matter who is at fault - If a collision occurs then you are going to be the one sat at the roadside exchanging particulars, waiting on recovery/another unit to take your trailer or load and all the other guff. Subsequent collections/deliveries are going to be delayed (or cancelled), other planned vehicle movements on future days are going to have to be rescheduled. Hundreds or thousands of other drivers are going to be delayed in their journeys. Your vehicle will be VOR while repairs are done. You will have to waste your time filling in the inevitable accident forms, answering enquiries from insurers etc. All this has to be paid for. Do you know who pays? It ain’t the plank that was at fault in the first place. Preventing the collision involves what? Lifting off for a few seconds - maybe even a touch on the brakes. You do the math…

if your agency…a change of scenery getting paid to do nothing for a while, giving you ample time to pack all the days belongings into the lidl bag…limp off into the sunset whist simultaniously arranging tomorrows shift elsewhere with your earpiece flashing away merrily.and not give a tinkers toss…

You mean the truck driver in the clip yes ■■

this accident is actually a surprise, trucker could have easily avoided it, so my load of ■■■■ goes towards him

That’s about the oldest piece of ‘news’ I’ve seen on here lately. Yes truck driver was a prick.

Haven’t watched the clip - my comment was a general one about the consequences of a collision and who picks up the tab.
