Chat Road off the A 28 is 4.1m but you don’t run that road into Cobbs ide you run Carlton Road

Hi Andrew, good to see you back on here

No problems to get to this estate heightwise. Off J 9 M20 straight to the estate, using Templer Way

Appreciate your help here Colinaki &Pierrot
Obviously Karla’s doing this as i wont be driving for a while yet and dont want her coming a cropper on roads which i havent traversed even myself.
Cheers

The pictures from Colinaki’s post are of the exits from this very distinctive roundabout with an APC in the middle of it.

The second picture in his post is the second exit from this r/a and is signed cobbs wood ind est. 50 yards along this rd Karla will come across this sign. Do not worry about it, she only needs to follow the road as it forks right onto the estate. If you put up the name of the collection point I will try to pinpoint it for you. I am quite likely to be in the local area on Tuesday anyway.

There are currently a lot of roadworks on the M20.

Cobbs Wood ind est is NOT signposted off this “the Drovers” roundabout. Follow A28 Tenterden and Great Chart the third exit.

Thanks for that cav551, the name of the company is MJ Allen, its all municipal drain covers, cast bollards, street furniture ect…

God bless Tnuk. Where else can one get screenshots from the limited access database of Google Maps?

For a made up driver, behind the wheel of an imaginary lorry, on their merry way to pick up an openly illegal load.

Not if he’s light otherwise.

Even picking up 27 tonnes still leaves 13 tonne for unit and trailer. Possible.

The bulkers have been loading not far short of 30t of grain this week.

M J Allen are in Hilton rd Cobbs wood ind est. In a left ■■■■■■ take the third exit off the personnel carrier r/a. Signed A28 Great Chart & Tenterden. Then left after about 100 m into Hilton rd. This will put any reverse on the good side.

google.com/maps/@51.1518351 … 312!8i6656

Hilton rd is only about 150 m long, park up near the gate for reception.

Channel Commercials (DAF) are straight ahead at the end of the road. A left turn leads to MJ Allen’s other entrance in Brunswick rd so Karla needs to know which entrance to use.

True, it can be done. To achieve a 13t tare weight for a FH16 and a Krone curtainsider combination one only has to remove the D16C 700 engine and the dual clutch gearbox from the lorry.

Considering Volvo never put a 700hp engine into a Euro6 FH nor a dual clutch behind a 16-litre engine in the first place, I suppose I stand corrected!

Thanks again Cav551 for the detailed info.
For what its worth, anyone who would like to see the FH16 700 / Krone 14m tilt and very lovely little blondie at the wheel, the whole outfit will be at Cobbs Wood ind est between 10-12am if all goes to plan.
Ps-if theres any confusion as to which FH16 700 it is it’ll be the white blinged one with side deflectors, durabrite Alcoas and Eminox stack and the drivers name plate will be up the window… .oh…and the Krone, silver with yellow band along the bottom edge…:stuck_out_tongue::grimacing::unamused:

You’re right, you can also claim to live anywhere in the world, have driven every country and post pictures of other people driving in said countries, amazing isn’t it…

Must be awful having such a tiny manhood that someone else getting a response about driving abroad makes you so jealous you have stalk them so tragically.
As has been said, change the record numbnuts, why bother commenting on his posts other than to look like some kind of love spurned weirdo…

Well the problem is the hunger that stems from all the humble pie I’ve been promised but not yet (or ever) delivered. Makes my tubby self just sad innit

No, just a creepy fantasist…

I thought stalking was illegal

Oh dear, the fanboys are all up at arms again!

Why is there such animosity towards myself, all for pointing out the fallacy that is sir Andrew? Why aren’t you fellas cornering the folk who called out UKTramp for taking a picture of himself at a roadside conundrum?

The mind beckons…

I’ve often wondered how someone who can allegedly get from one end of Europe to the other needs such help in the UK most weeks.
Never been easier to check routes what with various maps online and street view.
Certainly much easier than an a-z on the steering wheel and snatching quick looks at traffic lights

Whether or not Andrew is real i reckon with the unit and trailer set up 5 axle 41 tonne gross? Big engine and hefty full tanks with that load weight on it is most probably gonna be overweight.
