If a bus driver does a full days driving, what activity mode would he/she use when they are entertaining the passengers at the hotel, after the vehicle is parked up in the garage at the hotel, and the driver is told by his/her boss to play games with the passengers, the point is,they are still at work and on duty to quite late at night, and the next day,may have to get up early for a tour in the local area, hence not enough rest. What switch to use on the tachograph then?
With LGV drivers tipping on breaks,at RDC`s and factories, and UK and European Police enforcing the rules, what happens to a bus driver when he/she is still working late at night at the hotel. If the driver refuses,is that breach of contract, and a lot of un-happy passengers writing letters of complaint when they get home to the UK,then the driver gets the sack.Surely,he/she is not on a daily rest mode, after they have unloaded all the suitcases.
As far as I was concerned,I was a driver, not an entertainer.Tour guide/Manager’s responsibility to keep passengers entertained. If however the group was good,I wouldn’t be averse to joining in.If they were a miserable shower,I’d still be pleasant.
The firms I worked for respected my position on this.
The driver was going out with the hostess, now they are married, and he was working together with her,at the very pleasant area of Waidring in the Tyrols.Im guessing he booked off when he parked up that night.

exactly the same mode as you when you are entertaining "the “wife” You are not working
im a coach driver now, and when im at hotel i do my own thing, i prob socialise for a short period but, ENTERTAINING the passengers after i get to hotel, not a chance my job is done once im there, some prob like other person said join in but were off duty, and i think they would have a hard time proving you were on duty…
