Co- pilot

Think that’s what on device in cab , told you’ve got a month to get used to it then you’ll only be allowed it , no other sat nav ( very rarely use one as know most places .
So tip brislington & head round ring / road to kings wood , this co pilot device is telling me to go in the opposite direction into the centre of Bristol , it was telling me to turn around upto a mile from the destination , then I went to turn round in the yard & it’s going on about driving to the road lawas ( can’t remember exact wording )
In the end I switched it off .
Has anyone ever used co - pilot ?

It’s this , so looks like co- pilot emphasised text

the co-pilot that tesco used was utter crap. it used to ask you to do a turn in the road. or a u-turn on a mini roundabout. Then when you deviated from it because it was impossible to follow the instruction it sent a message back to the office.

This sounds the same cooper , I’ll just switch it off .

Never used one . But sounds a waste of space to me.
If what your saying is true you have to use it can’t use your own. And it sends messages to the office if you ignore it.
.
I’d so be tempted to follow it untill gets to a point where you can’t because low bridge unsuitable roads.
Thed id just ring office so ok what do I do now.id just be awkward with them

Just use your own if you’re unhappy with it. How would your office ever know? Unless of course you have the dreaded in-cab cameras.

We had co-pilot on all the tablets in my old job. I thought it was excellent. I can’t recall it ever sending me the wrong way. I ditched using my own Snooper in the end, and just used the co-pilot. The live traffic update was extremely accurate.

It’s been ok down m42 / m5 , but a bit concerned about the Severn bridge , will switch off just before .

That’s what bloke said on induction , you’ll be allowed to use your own for a month , but know most places so not overly bothered
The bloke said make sure you actually get out & do your checks & not just sit in your drivers seat as we will know , make of that what you want , can this device record you , I’ve no idea .

Only other stuff I can see in cab are these , I assumed they were forward facing cameras but who knows , only bit he said about recording was as I said we will know if you don’t get out and do your checks .

Today it’s done the route I’d do , but yesterday in Bristol I’ve no idea where it was going , what route , and what it was on about in yard I’ve no idea , we will see , bloke did say on
Induction we’ve had issues with routes so your a driver so use your common sense , so they don’t sound perfect , whereas other than dartford tunnels my snooper when I use it has been spot on

Tesco magor is a couple of hundred yards down the road on right & unless I’m reading this wrong this is telling me to go back to the r/o I’ve just come into this road on ? Rest of route was fine , as I would of done it , but I’m not convinced by it ,

It’s telling me to take the first exit off r/o , down badminton road , it’s closed , due to bridge repairs down at Emerson green ,
I go right then turn right at iron Acton & head out towards woton under edge then drop down to jct 14 m5 , at iron action sat nav wants to carry onto frampton cotterel / wintebourne , makes no sense to me , if I didn’t know better I’d think the sat nav was trying to drag the job out with its longer routes ( joke )
I’m sorry but it’s rubbish

Pain in the behind the road being shut been shut for well over 18 months now god knows when it’s ever going to reopen.
In a car it’s bit of a faff getting to and from chippingsodbury to Bristol.
Wouldt like do in in a truck

It is edd , I do Sainsbury’s Emerson then out to yate for a collection a lot , it’s a pain at the moment , the diversion is out to the a46 then come in through chipping sod bury .
I grew up in coalpit Heath but 40 + yrs away I’m struggling to remember short cuts especially in a lorry
It’s easy enough to get to yate off m5 if your doing tesco magor etc , but as I say sains is a pain .

How would they know if the checks had not been done, where is the camera located, if it’s hidden, surely the driver should know where it’s located?
I thought all with this data protection rules meant the employee must be told they are being filmed and monitored by the employer.

Way I go in car is from Sainsbury’s past the folly
head towards westerleigh past garden centres do a left and end up in Yate..
There is a sign says 7,5y expect for access id so it’s doable in a truck but there is a lowish arch bridge.
Which is 14.9ft

Seems to know it’s way to Newcastle , warning of geordies jumping in the Tyne after yesterdays battering will no doubt come up soon ha ha
