My mate has a ambient general load too take there tomorrow , I’ve done chilled many times 3/4 yrs ago and I think you just had too be there before 11 was it ,
But never took anything ambient , do they stick too booking times , is there a window , or can you turn up when you like . Ta
They’ll just keep him parked outside if it’s not a good time but I’ve been early and late and to be fair to them they’ve always had a good attitude, ie just want to get the stuff in and wagon gone to free up space. It’s only small so they don’t normally hang about.
Only thing that tickled me about that place is the signs on tables designating drivers and co op staffs tables and if I sat on their table I’d get told to move

In that particular case I was only I was only bringing in a load of apples from Burton Latimer - only about an hour’s drive.
However although I was in good time at Burton Latimer they “hadn’t finished packing the apples”!
The one in the corner they insist in you revering in off the road with no assistance. Now I know it’s easy enough but it makes me think how at other sites (not coop)you can’t even reverse 5 yards in a straight line with out a Banksman, and the industry wonders why drivers struggle with h&s bull when we see so many different ways of operating

Never had a problem there but that is the chilled side been early as well as late go on bay hand keys & paperwork in sit in room until finished normally out with in 30 min nice & easy

Just out of interest what does this mean?
I couldn’t give a ■■■■ what h&s bull I come across day to day I’m never in the place long and there’s a good chance I won’t see them again once gone and out the way while they live the life they live 
Can’t say I’ve heard anyone mention drivers struggling with h&s, I carry all the crap I need for almost every site(just the stupid orange jump suit we don’t carry thank ■■■■), and I really have to use it all I just ask at each place if it’s not clear what their standards are.
Whatever their rules you play by them and you go simples.
