Does anyone know what the tool is to check the clutch depth on a truck.
May sound a silly question but I’ve heard of such a tool ,are they handy got etc

Not sure but if you are looking at a Volvo, then quite often there will be a sticker in the door shut showing the clutch plate thickness remaining, it’s quite often routinely measured as part of the service.
Depending on model or how new. It may be on the dash diagnostics, sometimes it can be accessed easily other times it needs a dealer plug-in to read it.
