Still trying Norm but getting nowhere Skype asks me for my details my name comes up and i canāt get any further, come on lad give up, i have, iām not designed for 2010 a bit like 1910 in my case.

Old Dennis reckons he knows when you are having your 75th birthday party, I wouldnāt put it past himto get half a dozen coach loads of ex- truckers to come and eat & drink you out of house & home, I hope you have enough of your pension saved up.
I think this 75th thingy is building up to turn out like one of those doās the youngāuns publicise on facebook and then when their parents go out/or on hols hundreds of them turn up like locusts!!!When "H"s missus gets back from Bingo us lads will have scarpered(you donāt think werāe daft enough to hang about for the āhair dryer treatmentā!!!)By the time the (zb) hits the fan Chris will be on the ferry showing a clean pair of heels!!Anyway I read somewhere that a full innings was 3 score and 10 so that equals 70 if my adding up is correct!!!Cheers Dennis.

Yep Dennis am now officially on borrowed time but i do find i get a lot of fuss made of me, like the landlord of my local even invited me to his place for free drinks on my 75th birthday, yes free booze all night but only if i turn up with both my grandparents.

Big celebrations our Harry is on Skype, only Chris & Dave to take the plunge, a mate of mine at bowls is trying to get his son in Australia to get on, but he said he is too busy, a few clicks and he could be on, and Stuwart could talk to his grankids, sometimes I think grown up children can be cruel to their parents, they move to the other side of the world, and canāt find time to go on skype.
It don,t look as if Chris & Dave have been on this sight the last few days Harry, do you think they are hiding away incase we entice them on to Skype,do you think they are camera shy , or they are scared a movie producer might whisk them to " Hollywood" Nah they would choose us first Harry.

You know what they say once a King always a King once a Knight is enough. Chris quite liked night trunk especially the changeover ones, the Trafford Park was a good-un used to be back home in bed by about two oāclock if you clicked for one of the flying Seddons the trouble with right through stopovers was i wasānt good at sleeping during the day in digs too much noise, but like i said been there done that got the tee-shirt.

I quite liked night trunk as well Harry,made a change from night store deliveries.Always tried to get on a different run from the shop steward though as he liked to keep us in order.My favourite was Maltby-Lockerbie-Maltby,uppards via A1/M6/A74,downards via M6(sometimes A6)M61,through Manchester and over Woodhead if empty.

Last time I can remember snow this early was in 1962 when my eldest son was born, it snowed, froze, then the same again, it was around for twelve weeks, it cost me a small fortune to keep him warm, for he was born premature. I hope they keep most of it up north, Harry can have our share, I have been told the northerns are a hardy lot! WE gentle type in the east midlands, do not like severe weather, mild weather for mild nature people.
