Norm you might have to take up sand wobbling again if the airports start acting up but a little jaunt to Turkey would be no problem to an old stager like you, Chris might even get you a load out and back or Keith might be still able to whisper in the appropriate ear,i’d drive you down to the ferry but i’m not going over the water my sea legs are long gone.

Know what you mean Norm i can’t do long journey’s now without discomfort, tell you what mate this getting old is’nt all i’ts cracked up to be, can’t walk far, can’t drive far now there is something else i’m not much good at but the memory is’nt very good either so i’ll try and forget that one now what was i talking about?? anyway good buddy nice to hear from you again, the Missus and me are off down to London for a few days in mid September wedding anniversary thing, take in a show do the sights have a nice meal somwhere same as last year, I like London but would’nt fancy driving through the place anymore be guaranteed to get lost and with the senior citizens railcard it’s cheaper than diesel and parking as they say let the train take the strain.

Norm it’ll be the Royal National hotel Russell Square again very handy for the West End going on the 16th of Sep we walk to Theatreland from there if the weather is ok and get a taxi back.

Norm just get a little black holdall like mine you’ll be able to stow a couple of gallons in one of them no problem, a bit heavy first thing but gets lighter as the day wears on,the only problem is the old legs don’t work quite so well as the day draws on and i usually have problems remembering where i’ve parked the car.

Going down on the 16th of September which is a Thursday returning home on the 19th Sunday have booked to see a couple of shows Blood Brothers on Thurs evening and Dreamboats and Petticoats on Fri evening we are also going to try and see some very old friends who live in Kentish Town possibly on the Sat, now all i’ve got to do is make sure my Old Lady does’nt see this post she knows we’re going to London but she does’nt know i’ve booked the shows, she does enjoy a good show but she is expecting to have to try and find them when we arrive in the Capital so she’ll be over the moon when the tickets are all ready and paid for, now all i have is beat her to the front door when the postman delivers the tickets, Norman i’m full of surprises my wife does’nt realise how lucky she is being married to me.

Harry I have seen both those shows last time we were there, they are good shows, if you go to leicester square tube station, you can get half price tickets at twelve noon, there is a ticket office on the level before you go through the barriers, we got front row tickets £19 for bloodbrothers and about £21 D & P show, another good show was We will rock you. Norm like i said have pre-booked the tickets got the B B tickets two for £23 and the D & P tickets two for £37 the ways of the Tunisians and their haggling paid off, like i said we’ll be staying at the Royal National, Russell Square B & B it’s where we always stay i believe it’s the largest hotel in London handy for Kings Cross and the West End so if you can make it we can have a little drink and maybe a meal usually make it back to the hotel for a bit of scran and a nightcap or two or three after we’ve done the show i don’t do restaurants just a waste of time for me i can only manage sparrow sized portions and i have to leave room for a few drams.
