Well said.
Agreed, well said.
I buy one every year, and have the medium variety on my car.
We owe these people a lot, so do the decent thing.
Ken.
Agreed, something to think about when you think you are having a bad day.

Why has he never been tried for war crimes?, his lies are responsible for thousands of military and civilian deaths. I served in the last Gulf war and seen first hand the results of his lies. I hope this man dies a very slow painful death where all his money can’t help him.
Agree 100% with the sentiment and have bought a poppy already. The bliars and Tony’s cronies, now there are some real criminals.

The tool in charge now is no different, And he’s a millionaire too
No wonder the country is so (zb)
The Scotland football team manager has just been sacked but gets £35,000 a month untill his contract runs out comes to £750,000 and then you read about all the welfare cuts surely we will someday get a goverment that is willing to grab the nettle and address the fact that we are all in this together. Eddie.
got a medium poppy for the car, and gave them a tenner, they said we can’t give you any change, i said i didn’t want any…
It boils me ■■■■ to see these lads and lasses come home injured or in a box after doing a foreign tour or more and getting very little help apart from a nice parade but if you are an alcoholic or a druggie these so called ‘we are all in it together ■■■■■■■ in parliament’ will give you £105 a week’ !! bloody disgrace
Saw the headline and thought somebody had been driving a Merc Actros lol.
Must be terrible to lose limbs as a young person, my heart goes out to them.
Absolutely by chance, this came to my attention today:
A step in the right direction?
And I heard yesterday on radio 2 a feature saying ‘do you feel bullied in to buying a poppy’ I didn’t hear the feature as I had to turn off cause I thought it would p me off…
Honestly, bullied in to buying a poppy… Never heard anything so stupid! Imo them people who burn the poppys in public should be locked up.

I donate to the poppy appeal, but don’t often wear 1, mainly because I don’t take 1 when I donate because I just keep losing them and it feels more insulting in a way.
I don’t think it’s any of anyone elses business and never had anyone comment on my lack of wearing.
When I was on busses and coaches, I wore 1, it went easily in the button hole on my shirt and I was just sat there, but since moving to trucks, jumping up and down etc, I’ve not worn 1 in about 4 years.
Used to have 1 on the front of my truck, but I don’t keep a job long enough anymore - it’s now the 9th and I’ll be lucky to be in this job on the 11th

Why specifically? Because he’s a millionaire through inheritance, or ‘just because’?
PS, Am flowered up with my umpteenth poppy whilst remorseful of the lost & smashed-up - not that a lot of them would have wanted it that way: Plenty poor sods only wanted a half decent job - not an early box or to be patronised by those throwing/giving the country away

Only remember 1 person say anything and the stare did all I needed to do.
