Quite enjoyed that, & we think we have it hard having to do 40mph on s/c. Imagine driving at 20mph. Lancashire to Bristol in 11hrs 
in the 80s i used to work with an old boy…not far off retiring then who used to tell us of the days when he used to go over shap(before the motorways were dreamt of)in the middle of winter in a truck with a wooden cab and rod brakes…no heater…rags jammed in the holes in the floor around the pedals to keep a bit of cold out…his boss bought a ford d series unit when they first came out…he thought he had died and gone to heaven…scotch 3 times a week in a d series??
