Currently Westbound to Holyhead and I’ve passed at least two dozen classic lorries going eastbound towards Chester on the A55 in North Wales, some immaculate old girls including a 1950’s Foden eight wheeler and a beautiful Bedford flatbed with period
Packing cases on it, a pair of immaculate Volvo’s one was the F88 and quite a few eighties ERF EC tractor units that look ready for work.
Must have been a rally in Llandudno
every early May bank holiday weekend for three days, hundreds of vintage trucks , cars ,buses, tractors, motorbikes, and steam traction engines and old steam lorries… there are two events going on in the town at the same weekend… they do road runs round the Great Orme and through Conwy… we have been down a few times, its a great weekend…if you do think about going get yourself organised in good time… all the b&b’s and hotels get booked up …

We went to the transport festival at Llandudno on Sunday for the first time, a brilliant day looking at the types of trucks I had driven in 1960/70s.
plenty of nice blinged up modern trucks in the next field but I never went in as have no interest in the modern trucks.
Worked with a guy who used to find old trucks in barns and fields and he rebuilt them.
