I was driving down embankment the other day when towards me cane an old scania 111 pulling a container and it got me thinking, are classics exempt from the LEZ?

I’m pretty sure it has to be pre 1972 to be exempt unless it’s a showmans truck.
LEZ is a joke. I can’t go into London with my wagon (Euro3) but a tin pot builder can operate a load of old JCBs, Benford dumpers,Poclain 360s if he wishes pumping out all sorts of crap and it’s all above board.
That’s all he could afford to run after buying a new Euro5 motor to transport the relics in anyway…
