i just want to know what if a test at this time off day on Saturday is actually any good obviously schools are closed and im sure people will be out getting xmas shopping in the droves lol
Its just this is my 3rd go at the test i failed the last 2 for stupid reasons ie traffc lights ad the the reverse section lol
Id say roads will be quite as majority not working and not out at this time. I do my weekly shop saturday morning around this time and roads are dead. Good luck mate. I think it depends what mood examiner is in as well, i rolled on mine but passed. Have a nice little chat when your driving, be polite it goes a long way
I dont think it makes any difference to be honest.
I passed my cat C first time with a 10am test, failed my first C+E with a 1430 time but passed the 2nd attempt with a 9am.
Its really your luck and awareness for your surroundings and how you deal with them rather than the test time IMO
i think you read too much into the test, relax the tester is only doing a job, he will only be thinking can i safely put the wife and kids in with this man, ok i can do without the wife, once passed and on your way you will be driving at every time of day and day of the week, with different shifts every other day, maxing your hours, eating crap, no sleep, the test is a trip to the pub with a mate.
I think they must take into account how heavy traffic is when they pick a route. When I did my test they had a range of test routes. Some would have taken hours at the wrong time of day…

This should have all test routes for your centre, to be fair, if you have a decent instructor you should over covered most the routes during training… good luck… remain calm and patient and remember, he is just wanting a smooth safe drive.
Ah some reason it deleted the post. About 35 minutes in I was doing my independent drive and I completely missed a 7.5 tonne only entry sign examiner had to stop me. Drove straight back to the test centre didn’t actually realise I failed at that only had 3 minors my pre drive was good my instructor said drive like this on you test and I will pass didn’t miss anything getting really frustrated now as these silly mistakes are amounting to tremendous retest fees.
Gonna get booked up again but this time I’m having another days training and then the test after on the next day. Examiner recommended this because of the time between the tests.
