Class 2 to Class 1 transfer

I am doing both licences back to back and was wondering if I am entitled to keep hold of my class 2 licence once I pass (Rather than sending to DVLA), reason being is I would like some Class 2 work in between if there is a slight wait at the training school.

I have been advised by an agent they would take me on having just seen pass certificates though as well.

You need to send to DVLA after C to get CE provisional

Most places you go to want to SEE the licence - the agency may be happy but the client is not likely to be

Yeah I thought that as well - so would the client likely turn me away? Even if they were able to electronically check my licence?

Not sure how the new online checking will pan out for that as its so new

Mine was back in a week when i passed c+e. Pretty sure was back quick after c as the dates on my dqc card are just after my test pass. But was few years ago now.

You get a 5 year DQC when you complete either mods 2 and 4 or 35 hours of periodic training - the DQC does not state how it was gained
