Class 2 to Class 1.. how much?

Passed class 2 18 months ago first time in 16 hours… what am I looking at?

Also, wag n drag or ‘proper’ artic?

Cheapest I found for
Class 1 was £899. I did mine in wag and drag. There’s arguments for and against both. I didn’t mind it didn’t find it difficult to drive. “Proper” artic probably easier to reverse

I paid about that, but it was 4 years ago

I’d say £900-£1200.
What you have to then ask yourself, is what will you be getting for your money depending which end of the budget you go for…

Rather than get trainers on here posting their prices you could PM them for quotes. Where are you in the country

I’m in Salford. I just wanted some ballpark figures tbh before I approach the trainer I went with for class 2. I was very happy with them and I’ll see what they come back with now I have some figures in my mind.

I would Definately contact Paul at Elmet Training. He’s got a good reputation on here and from experience of meeting him very likeable.

It is so important to have a trainer you get on with.

All that wagon & drag vs artic business confuses me. My DCPC man told us that if you pass in W&D you can’t drive an artic because you’ll have a 102 code on your licence. True or false?
