Sounds about right.

When I was on Brakes, it was around 26k for class 2, 3663 has always been similar.

It’s well paid because it’s ■■■■■ work.

I’ve edited my post to include the ad.

I hate early mornings, but I’ll send a CV off, nothing ventured and all that bollox.

Class 2, it may be ■■■■ work but for that kind of money I’ll take it up the arse, any offers, lol.
I was on £1 an hour more driving an Oil Tanker on nights, ADR.

Basically, if you know what you’re getting into, and are happy with that, then you’ll be ok, there’s people there who’ve been there years.

It’s multi drop, chilled and frozen, to shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Hope it’s easier than Bookers, that was a real ■■■■ job.

I did agency work with 3663 in manchester a few years ago, it was long days but got well fed with Free KFC meals at every drop

Ummmm, I love KFC but I’m fat enough around the middle. lol

Possibly, no definitely, the worst job I’ve experienced. You’re expected to take the delivery into the customers shop/kitchen/freezer etc which means most drops take a while. Eventually told the agency I’d rather not work than go in there. Did get persuaded to go in for a sat class1 job for “one drop at trafford park” which turned out to be a full load to Man U’s ground - 12 separate shops/kiosks, all handball and no assistance from staff…
Strict rules about booze and ■■■■ not being left unattended too but how do you do that when going in and out the customers premises?

never ever again for me!

By all means go for it but be prepared for what is expected…

Yea but the moneys very good for Class 2.
Oh well, nothing to lose, can always quit if I get the Job and I’ve another waiting.

FTFY. Your Welcome

Hi,

I can confirm this because i work there myself! Dunno bout the other depots but Stow is a good place to work, It is hard graft SOME days, but others its easy! I very very rarely do over 45 hours on a normal 5 day week.

Best place ive worked in all honesty!

Nothing about Stow on there. It’s only hard work if your a lazy effer that can’t do a bit of hard graft!!! And those that can’t do a bit of graft are the one’s that say their ■■■■■■ It keeps you fit, all the handballing up/down stairs etc but more importantly, 25k or so keeps the wolves from the door if agency are only giving you £100/week or so!

Sounds good, thanks.
Anything I need to know before applying for the Job?

Im pretty sure 3663 Banbury are paying 32k on annualized hrs for class2…i might be wrong but it sounds right :open_mouth:

From what I’ve gathered all the depots pay different rates.

When I was working for them I got speaking to other 3663 drivers from other depots and they all said they had a different basic to mine. Plus my p/h was no where near £9 it was more like £7.50 I think.

The advert says 6:30 to 4, but this is quite misleading. Starting at 6:30 (depending on your run) will absolutely ■■■■ up your day. When I was there the latest anyone was in was about 5:30 and to get a good finish time most were in for around 4am. If it turns 4pm and you’ve still got stock in the wagon you’ll be expected to continue. You’ll be expected to work through breaks and deal with retarded planners that don’t have a clue what a map is.

Oh and you can expect anything from 15 to 30 drops a day.

They do pay good money but you with really work for every penny

Yeah, it will probably be tues-sat with one 6 day week a month as overtime. You get time and a 5th for the saturday even though its the 5th day of your week, and generally saturdays are easier than the rest of the week, the last few ive been back by 12!

pm me if you need to know anything else!

Nice one, Thanks.
I’ll ‘tweak’ my CV a bit and if I get an interview I’ll be in touch.

BTW, Weekly or Monthly pay?

Again can only quote for Stowmarket but we do start at 0630, theres a few drivers who come in earlier but as long as you are leaving the yard by 0645 then its fine.

I can honestly say that 95% of drivers are back and finished by 3pm, we are NOT expected to work through breaks, our day is up to us how we plan it, as long as you stick to WTD and drivers hours. We dont have a planner as such, everybody gets told what route you are on the day before and its up to us to tell THEM what order we want the drops in. Also, we can say if we think a drop is better off on another route for whatever reason, and most of the time its moved. We do anything from 3-20 drops a day, but it probably averages 15, if you have a busy day or 2, you will normally get given an easier day the next to balance it out. Its rediculously hard work like all the lazy gits on here make out, i mean whats hard about offloading a roll cage on a tail lift, wheeling it into a kitchen and taking the stuff out?? we dont put stuff away for anyone as its not our job, plus customers want to check off the stuff to make sure its all there!
