Does anyone know if you put in for your class 1 straight after you pass your class 2 or is there a certain restriction period ?

The only delay is the time it takes for your fresh Cat C license to drop on your doormat with CE provisional :slight_smile:

And just to be clear, you can drive CAT C the moment you have the pass certificate in your hands but this is not a provisional CE. As Dean has stated, you can drive the CE once you have your licence - - - and not before!

You do not have to apply for the CE provisional = it will be granted automatically with the full CAT C (assuming the DVLA system works).
