I doubt this guy is still employed, so DHL/Argos must have a vacancy for a half-decent Class 1 driver after this…
I know this road and roundabout well and I honestly can’t see how this could have happened
I thought Wincanton did all the Argos containers!
I can’t say for sure, I just know when I did some agency work last year for the Darlington Argos depot we had a DHL induction and I was told that DHL organized all the trucking for Argos.
XPO run all the Argos work up here other than the home delivery nonsense.
Lorry from faverdale depot, DHL run that depot and some of teesport containers is done in house.
XPO run Moss End
DHL run Stafford Faverdale & Bedford
Wincanton does Basildon Bridgwater Kettering Heywood
From what I heard from one of our drivers is that the box was all loaded on one side only, hence the rollover. Unlike ferry trailers, the box jockeys aren’t allowed to break the seals to inspect the load until it gets to the delivery point (depending on company policy).
He.s made the same mistake as the other 6 or 7 drivers have in the last 10 years on that roundabout
There is always some ■■■ going over, Britannia crest went over at Gatwick the other week and a viridor motor down went over by Horsham a little while back.
Someone could have at least closed the door in case it rains …
A Tad fast methinks
