Big Truck:
Think MVH pay drivers by the mile so would avoid!!!

MorganMcLernon cover alot of multidrop on loads out and you WILL deliver into Tesco Boucher/Ballymun with return load.
Stretched to limit on 15spreads!!!
Sawyers on other hand majority will “turn” you off boat and local driver will deliver return load.

Hey was wondering what you mean by “turn”? Also with Morgan’s what’s so bad about tescos in boucher/ballymun?

You go out with a load , deliver it , reload and drive back to the ferry . You drop your trailer and ship it home . You lift a trailer that has been shipped out to you and go back down the road .
You have just been "turned "

Cheers buddy thought as much, thanks!

Or it equally works that you come off boat to Topaz Larne/Dublin Port or Westbank Services Belfast docks with your reload and “turned” there and back to Lurgan in Sawyers supplied car and home for daily/weekly rest break.
With Morgan’s you’ll mostly be expected to deliver said reload for not much more dough!!!

As for Tesco Boucher/Ballymun,
you will sit about regular bored to death in DUNG drivers waiting room to tip for no extra dough as well!!!

Big truck. who would be best to work for sawyers or morgans for pay/conditions?

Not a lot in it to be honest Morgans are paying £250 a trip not sure of Sawyers’ rates however being able to go onto salary at Sawyers would make me favour Sawyers. Not a lot of difference in the work and as Big Truck says with Sawyers you will not spend as much time sitting about in Boucher Road or Donabate

changed days a bit there…over on the boat…show your shunt off into larne/Belfast…on with the wire/magnet…do your deliveries,go for diesel,go and load, back to the ferry, off with the wire, and show your shunt back on to do it all again on a fresh card…oh the joys of the mushroom brigade getting reamed by vosa…not that anyone would ever do such a thing nowadays… :open_mouth:

What he says!!![emoji6]

Sawyers are also paying £250trip if out on a Fri/Sat boat and £200 for the other days.
They also pay a fuel bonus of approx £20/40 per week so possible to clear near the “magic” £700 if you cover WE work and get the 3trips in on 6cards!!![emoji56]
Sawyers will let you go salary too if you commit with TMs to cover the WEs.
