Class 1 info needed

So i have had class 2 for a year, thinking of doing my class 1, I stay in Glasgow area, any good Instructors out there, passed my class 2 with GTG who weren’t bad, hated driving in Glasgow area, was thinking of going to Galashiels in the Scottish Borders as I know the roads better as I used to stay down for around 16 years, but I think the instructors down there use a rigid with trailer, but I would like to learn in tractor unit, any ideas on what I should do, stick with Glasgow and tractor units or go for the Borders and learn in Rigid and trailer.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Best advice is take your class 1 in a rigid and trailer then book a morning driving an artic to get the feel of it.
You will get plenty of time to drive artics once passed which way you get your licence isnt an issue.

Theory is the same but they act differently

the couple/un-couple is very different
