Anyone know what a daytime Bulk driver does for UK Mail, is that trunking or something ?

Sounds like bulk depot to depot, as against delivering single items.
It will be going to customers and doing deliveries and collections but bulk so by the cage full and not by the parcel. They only trunk at night, so after you get back from day runs the trunck driver will load and go to the hub. Use to do both for uk mail years ago from cullompton to birmingham

Basicly doing the deliveries that probably take up too much space in the sprinter vans. Consignments of 10 items or more are usualy refered to as a bulk drop by parcel firms.
