Class 1 (at last)

NEW AND WANNABE DRIVERS (INTERACTIVE)

I am pleased to say that after 5 months and a lot of messing around by agencies, I finally have a class 1 job starting next week. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Will be pulling for a local firm of 6 wagons, running fridges to Asda RDC in Bedford.

My first 2 days will be with another driver double manned, then if everyone is happy, iā€™ll be on my own after that!!!

Havnā€™t had a smile on my face this big since I got my class 1 way back in May.

donā€™t know what Iā€™ll be driving yet, although he has a few Seddon Atkiā€™s and at least 1 Scania 3 streamline

But I donā€™t really care, I will have a regular wage and a start on the all important ā€œexperienceā€

Will post more details (and possibly a pic) when I get them

Well done.

Good canteen at Bedford. The only drawback is the long walk around the perimeter to get there.

Slight Change of plan
Will now be starting with R & R Transport of Redruth
More money, better Kit (ā€œmyā€ motor is an 04 plate Daf XF 480 space)

Will be doing general haulage tramping with poss euro if I so Choose.

Some infomation came to light that makes me think I had a lucky escape with the other one!!!

Will be on Palletline tonight so if anyone on here does palletline, you might see me tonite!!!

Good point to remember when you go to an asda rdc
after you back on the bay you have to walk back to the
bay door and push a button on the wall.
This changes the light from green to red.
Then take your keys and notes to office.
This happens at normanton(wakefield)
and skelmersdale havent tipped bedford.
