Hopefully this will be of use to some on here. Drive past fielding’s yard in writtle today, they’re looking for 2 class 1 and 2 class 2 drivers. I know they do exhibition and rock n roll work, would be keen myself but don’t think the missus would be overly keen on me being potentially away for weeks at a time. I emailed them today it’s uk and European. One truck and trailer stays with driver no swapping. BUT reckons cannot match the money I’m on at mo and that’s days at 598

like i said call me and i will explain the pay structure. its complicated but will be more than you are on now
I will throw my pennies worth in for anyone who is interested i done 18 years full time on for them & only left because of deciding it was time to stay closer to home to the family. Obviously with this kind of work you have to be very flexible & prepared if needed to be away for weeks at a time but the benefits & places you visit can be very rewarding! Once you have worked in this kind of work it will be hard to get the same sort of job satisfaction anywhere else!
Fieldings work is mainly corporate based , mainly shows (conferences) for major companies which although doesn’t sound as exciting as Rock & Roll normally takes you to more exotic locations- Tenerife, Majorca-Malta- Turkey for example are all regular locations & many a 5 star resort will be visited.
