Don’t want to split hairs with anyone but like that if Peter Sutcliffe had a paper round as a boy does that mean he could have been reported as a paper boy ?

I have just seen the program via the web, we don’t get the program here. When I heard the comment from Clarkson I did feel it dented what was a good program, but that is what he does and its not a problem to me as such, but surely to the relatives of the victims wether The Yorkshire Ripper or the latest ones in Ipswich it was a pointless thing to say, I would have left that out. Apart from that it seemed to portray drivers in a good way.

i am sorry jc made the comment with tongue in cheek if people cant see that they need to get a life, i was falling off my seat watching it, even the mrs nearly had a baby laughting that much (and she’s not even preggers) yes i feel sorry for the parents of the girls killed, but jokes are made about these type of things all the time ok they might not get 8 million listening to it but they are still being told.

Virtually every joke ever told, or at least the ones that actually make people laugh, will be offensive to somebody, are we just supposed to stop telling jokes? I bet the families you metioned will, at some time, have laughed at jokes that were offensive to somebody. Bad things happen, the world moves on and people laugh about it.
Clarkson is an idiot and does nothing to promote road safety. One things for sure he won’t want to drive through a brick wall again.

i think at the time the gutter press headlined him as truck driver killer, they just accidentally on purpose forgot to put fork lift in front, must have made it easier to headline

Fork lift driver, bus driver or baker, doesnt really matter, when someone dies, as im sure almost everyone on here has lost someone, it gets easier but not better. Imagine if the families have got over this grief to an extent that they can move slowly on only to see this idiot start them off again.
As much as you want to slate us TO’s and me personally ( W I, very good) were are NOT allowed to go around our outstations or RCC taking the ■■■■ out of a death or injury that we have been too. You will get sacked if you found to take a picture of an RTC but then we have standards, personal and professional.

I have sympathy for people in times of need, I have always treated people like I want to be treated myself. the only time I dont have sympathy is when you are to blame yourself. Im sure those 5 didnt say “Right, make up on, lets go and get murdered.” It wasnt their fault. If you drive like a ■■■■ like the guy did the other day and landed in the central res then its your own doing. I have sympathy for the family driving along minding their own business who got airlifted for back injuries.
