just recieved a form from price waterhouse cooper the recievers for ar lunn for wages holiday payed owed how long does it take once they have recieved the form back
it may take a couple of weeks, it may take several months. It really depends on a multitude a factors.
If there was enough cash in the bank when the closure happened to pay off everyone then your get paid quickly. However if there was a lot of debt, the drivers will be way down the pecking order when it comes to outstanding wages. But on the plus side, any redundancy monies owed are paid through a goverment scheme and they should be paid within weeks
Are we talking about AR Lunn of Hull,( a tattier fleet I’ve yet to see ) ?
I didn’t even know they’d gone under It’s no surprise if they have, mind. Having driven for them a time or two with the agency, the transport staff are the most ignorant people I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with
. If their customers are treated a quarter as rudely as the drivers, it’s no wonder they’ve gone under.
andy, it will be three weeks pal. at the latest.
they did the admin for our co that went bust in 2009

Actually when it comes to stuff like this, wages are usually the first debt paid out of any assets or sale of assets.
It happened to me last year, it took about a month for my back wages to be paid, but about six months for the holiday pay and lieu of notice pay.
