Remember that to get to either of these outlets you are off the transit route, so liable for a hefty fine.
I’ve only seen the police fining you on the way to Route 66 or the Total just before it, Smokeys seems to be OK.
If you should be unlucky enough to be caught and fined on the way to any of these places, keep your fine receipt. Next time you go, take the receipt with you, you’ll be refunded the fine by the shop. They then complain to their Chamber of Commerce that their customers are being hounded by the Police, taking your receipt as proof. They are then refunded by the Chamber of Commerce. The Police don’t keep the fine money, they give it to the Chamber of Commerce, so it just goes round in a circle 
I was given this information by the staff at Route 66, after being pulled and fined for going off the transit route. They said there’s an MEP who lives in the area, who complains to the police about all the trucks going off route. Periodically the police show willing by having a day of fining us .
