Finally got myself some work for over the christmas period. I know its only 4/5 weeks work but beats doing odd days here and there which has made up most of my limited driving experience. I’ve trunked a few night shifts which I didn’t mind (less morons on the road) now I’ll be doing multidrop which consists of up to 20 drops per day. I’d rather trunk to be honest but experience is experience none the less.
Not sure if I’ll be driving a class 2 or 7.5 tonner, it’s in Bristol and wages are £425 per week. 10 hours shifts at £85 to gain experience ain’t bad at all. Nervous slightly but will soon get the hang of it.
Start at 7am and finish at 5pm. 5 Days out of 7 and overtime available at £9.50 per hour.
