I took my Mums other half for a day out about 20 years ago, it was like having a personal Health and Safety bod in the cab.
Be careful on the lorry step Malc, is that load secure? watch out for that forklift! Will it fit under that bridge? he seemed to be going a bit fast didn’t he, I remember him trying to talk to the crane driver while I was tipping. he got short shrift and decided he was just rude. I suggested he was probably trying to watch the slingers signals
Probably the funniest part was when he asked for a nice cup of tea with 2 sugars and milk. and was just handed a chipped mug with a tea bag in it. He used to laugh at how rude the people had been to him, although he did act like Colonel Blimp most of the time

Yes,to get around our site we have to go out on the road.It is taxed and also runs on white diesel.
