the time to post on this forum (which I rate as the best on the net) Linda is slowly recovering from her major operations and the house is coming on.
We are just at the stage of choosing Kitchens,bathrooms,tiles and wood flooring, I say we but should really say Linda

Thanks Dave both of us have been over whelmed by the good wishes we have received here. We visited the house today the roof is on
and doors and windows back in, the plasterers have started, we are on course to move back in by 2nd week in Feb 2011.

Remember Al,and I know its easy to say it from this remove,nobody was hurt,(or so I believe),so it is all relative,they were only material posessions(although close to your heart Im sure).Thank your God for this.

Thanks Whiplash, yes in the great scheme of things we are ok, material possessions can be replaced (well not all of them) I look at the television news and see people
in third world countries who have lost everything and no chance of getting anything back, we have been put in a large 4 bedroom bungalow while the house is being
rebuilt. The insurance have given us a settlement on the contents of the house so we can refurnish when it is ready and as you say we are still alive and kicking
