used to love listening to him when he had the on going argument with john gaunt (talk sport) radio one till ten then switch over to john gaunt to listen to the responce he would give moyles

Oxford Mail reports that local radio listening figures show BBC Oxford, Heart FM and a poncy student/single womans’ station called Glide FM have all lost listeners, only Jack FM gaining. Not surprised Heart is losing, same crap music, crap djs who it seems believe their own bull excrement that they are the best and like to pretend they’re local.
Someone mentioned Moyles’ in-studio hangers on; They take his abuse and laugh at him because it keeps them in work. Anyone remember all the crap he used to dish out to that Brummie bird?

I think when you start listening regularly to BBC local radio (especially in the evenings and at weekends) you know you have given up. I do listen in sometimes ( ) and actually feel sorry for some of the people who ring in late at night, obviously quite lonely alot of them 
Listening to Richard Spendlove on saturday evenings could send me off to sleep

Amen. Same as you on all four counts. I couldn’t hate a radio station more than Heart and its middle of the road tosh consisting of cringeworthy phone ins, crap competitions and a daily dose of Bryan Adams feat. Mel C, Nat Umbruglia, The Corrs and Cher. Radio2 isn’t too bad but ‘Wrighty’ is wrongy, Evans isn’t great and Ken Bruce? Do me a favour. I never liked Xie Ball on Radio1 but on 2 I can tolerate her and I like Jeremy Vines show although the format is basically “lets start an argument but if anyone starts arguing, cut’em off incase they say nuggets in the woos pile”!!
Radio1 was nearly so good. I absolutely love the Chris Moyles Show and the is team. I think Moyles is the only credible presenter on there, not DJ, presenter. He breaks away from the rest of the show where the corporate, pc line is draen just as Mark and Lard did and yes, their loss was massive to Radio1 too. I don’t mind Greg James but Dev is a knob, Fearne is the most boring, prudish, irritating div, Dev the pleb and as for Scott Mills… His bellend helper Chris and that daft bonk Becky… All idiots, unfunny, own joke lovers… Just pure drivvle. Sarah Cox… Love her. So there we are, Moyles, Coxy, Mark and Lard, Greg James. Three hours each, sorted.

I listen to Radio ■■■■■■■■■ late show during the week. Richard Nankivell is barking mad. I used to listen to him when he was a DJ on forces radio BFBS. He’s got more loopier the older he’s got!!! :lol::lol:

It annoys the life out of me that someone has decided I’m too old for a radio station that I pay for.You are joking right? Or are you one of those crazy people that think every minute of the BBCs output should be catered to you and if it doesn’t its a case of ‘why am I paying for this?’.
No mate I’m happy to pay for it I just don’t understand why they have to aim for certain age groups. When they sacked some of the older D.J’s years ago the listening figures dropped massively and that was classed as a success, the point I was trying to make was if older people listen why chase them away.I listened to R2 for a few years and there’s not enough new music on there for me I can only listen to the oldies for so long before it pee’s me off
i will happily choose radio 1 over any of my local radio stations that only the same songs repeated every hour i dont mind fire fm in bournemouth poole area
