bald bloke:
Shame it’s just been done up, it’s not cheap but it’s a tidy place.
Trouble is, that since the re-vamp you can buy an organic kumquat or a hand-crimped duck and venison pie but you can’t buy a 24v trailer brake light bulb.
The duck and venison pie sounds a better option Harry although I do hear where you’re coming from.

Yes you can Harry. There is still a small corner full of truck stuff and assorted badly chromed tat, for drivers to adorne their steed. …

But not bulbs (other than one line of headlamp bulbs) , as the bloke behind the counter confirmed when I asked him.
alterego:
And why would a driver want to purchase a bulb?. Just phone transport who will arrange to get a fitter sent out who will replace it for you sorted

Yes, I’m afraid I’m far too stingy to call out a fitter to change a trailer bulb. I know some larger companies do insist that drivers do, but I’ve always considered it to be part of the job, even when I was an employee. And if I did take on another employee, I’d expect him/her to change simple bulbs him/herself. Any driver I did take on would probably be a similar age to myself, so a bit “old school” and wouldn’t bat an eyelid at changing a bulb.
