I always remember a lad I worked with on the buses back in 1987, he had an argument with a woman in pagemoss Liverpool, she hit him over the head with a frozen leg of lamb and knocked him out 
thankfully he was at a bus stop outside the Eagle and child, all the drinkers came out and one laughed at him but others took offence. This descended into a mini riot with the police escorting the lad into an ambulance.

Ha ha ha, what makes this funny for me in a slightly discriminatory way is that… it was Liverpool. Don’t ask me why
Unless I’ve missed something it looks like the driver completely lost it (sanity) and deliberately steered towards the inevitable… I had on one occasion a passenger moaning about something and found out the hard way how effective the service brakes were on the volvo I was driving, as did I, being so used to feathering the brakes and letting the retarder do most of the work it came as quite a surprise when a quick dab caused the front end to nosedive and said passenger reurned to their seat after they managed to get up off the floor!!!
he must have been the agency relief driver because it was davys day off.
