From 2027 China is banning those electric car door handles for safety concerns & will require interior & exterior door handles to be mechanical so that passengers & firefighters can access the vehicle in case of no 12V power. EU/UK is to follow suit & Tesla models will have to be redesigned. 
It’s an open-and-shut case as far as I’m concerned.
