Chepstow Tesco RDC

Chatting to the bloke at supply drivers paper work reception…and he was telling me that excel have finished and Tesco now runs it all…same with the Didcot RDC…

Is this going to be the case across all the Tesco’s RDC’s…and will ASDA follow suit…

Just worried about u guy’s, what the real future hold…he told me your still under your standing contracts…but i can see in time tesco’s changing this …then…streamlining this…that and whatever…

oooohhh well…we’ll see hope it’s good

Must say…there must be a big magnet fitted to the side of the M5…joe driver ( minus one or two fools)…managed to use the inside lane…shockingly amazing :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

:stuck_out_tongue: Anyway, I think getting the likes of Exhell DHhell & Cantwinno out of any contract and whoever runs it them selves is a good thing, bring it on. :sunglasses::smiling_imp:

Morning DAFmad what u doing on this site so early.■■?..take it u were working over night…well have a nice day…or sleep if your heading that way…cos i certainly am…

SS:
take it u were working over night…

Yep, thats right, had just got in.

I totally agree , the likes of dhl exel supply chain should be squeezed out and the respective companies they were contracted too take it all back on board themselves , its not like your going to lose your jobs , it would be a simple transfer process .

The big logistics companies ■■■■ up every ounce of money they can and its all take take take and they never give anything …No bonus bo nothing .

Kick em all out

I left DHL because i was sick of them and their attitude towards employees .Before the merger DHL was fine but after the merger the rot started . Worked for EXEL for a year which has been better but slipping a bit now , oh i know why DHL took them over …

Funny how ten years ago the company i work for was brewery owned and they were paid more money than we now get on the same job but under logistics company .
The brewery warehouse workers get paid more than us and they only do an 8 hour shift …
No wonder coors is making most of them redundant and then asking the remaining workforce to do more work , hell on …
I can see them phoning a logistics company up in the future to do away with the troublesome matter of employees …
