I have had an agency ring me today, considering I’m registered with them I have had very little work from them. The point being It’s a 2 day induction/training It pays £10 a hour and ongoing work throughout the year, It’s starts in two weeks, should I be wary of this offer ? or grab it with both hands.
I have plenty of full time work with my present agency between G/haulage and sainsbury’s DHL.What are the hours etc ? Is it a good solid job or what. plenty of overarm spins a day i know to strap. thanking you in advancee

it can’t be too difficult running pallets about :laughing: chep trucks seem to be limited to 50mph but the guys i pass always give a cheery wave as i overtake :smiley: don’t know anything of proper use about the job though, sorry. :unamused:

Cheers Timmo, just thinking for the after xmas siesta that will hit us all. Trying for the land rover full time, It’s mayhem some mornings trying to find an empty trailor but they have ongoing work.

Don’t know how many lorries are based at Solihull, 15 or so operate from Landor st. next to frightliner and run into Solihull and Hams hall. Never worked for them myself but there are a lot of long term guys on there so must be ok ?
I don’t think I could throw a strap that high now :frowning: :frowning:

CHep are going to be run off their feet right through to xmas and just after. I wouldn’t leave a full time gig to jump on for them at this time of year.
