Then moments before I left there was another being escorted in.
They had a result with the Belgian registered unit just as I was readying myself to depart too. An officer slid out from underneath with his prize, a small magnet removed from the Tachograph impulse sensor…

he will be parked up back of his legs slapped and made to sit on the naughty step for 24 hours and a cpl hundred quid out of pocket if he is a foriegner.
its unlikely to be a big deal if theres only 1 plod and 1 van of vostapo.
it would be more severe if it was during one of those big mega all agency effort clampdowns where they need all the drama and media coverage.
if he was one of our own indiginous pink uk residents,then itl be more severe with words like falsifying digital data,fraud,imprisonment,loss of licence,and employers loss of operating licences and lots of other bumph.
at this time of the day its unlikely he was speeding but if so,then thatl be another seperate charge.
oh…and id imagine they would be similar size to these?..just a guess though…
Anything like this in my local area and they are parked up for 24hrs and appear in magistrates court the following day and relieved of lots of cash (£1800- £2000)
