I’m currently sat in BHS in Atherstone & have been for the past 3 1/2 hours & likely to be here for another 1 1/2 hours I’d say for 26 light, low pallets of boxes of tat on a curtainsider.
Why on earth do they use a conveyor to hand ball the entire trailer with one bloke doing it?
Why not tip the trailer in the normal way and then if they want to ■■■■■ about putting all the stuff on a conveyor for 4 hours then good luck to them, such a faff around. I wouldn’t mind if it was a floor to brim container with no pallets in but FFS, if they’d have fore warned me as well, I thought I’d be out of here within the hour or two.
I’ll not be back.

Like I say I wouldn’t mind so much if I’d have known in advance it was going to be a ■■■■ about but the fella at the firm who subbed it to me didn’t let on when he gave it me the bleeder.
To be fair to BHS they do it appears let you drop the trailer & park outside for the night if you want so fair play on that front but they should be warning lads when they get there how long it could be in case they go over on the card.
Like TK Max or whatever they’re called now, could be 9 hours drive when you rock up at the gate, er ok…
What a ■■■■ of a tip on a Friday,remember tipping 40’ box at halfords 10 hours about 30% tipped

Used to do agency for Bhs Atherstone for 6 months used to send us for collections after store deliveries turn up somewhere empty 45ft then expect us to help the supplier handball boxes off pallets and stack them till the box is full, ones with wine in were worst or jars a foot square and heavy get a few thousand in aswell bloody job lol
