leaving it a bit late aint you

The DCPC officially kicks in on the 10th September so leaving it till first week of that month ain’t going to do you any favours. Think about it, you sit for 5 days in a classroom environment so that could take you up to 5,6 or 7th of Sept. It takes as long as ten days for your card to drop through the door. Officially you cannot drive without a valid DQC on or thereafter the 10th.

I suggest you get yourself on a course at the earliest opportunity & stop looking around to find the cheapest.

The first week of September is likely to be either very expensive, or not available at all.

The sooner you do it the better, really, most trainers are already fully booked, or nearly so, for weekend slots between now and the end of August.

You can still get weekday places reasonably cheaply and easily…for now. Don’t delay.

Oh and some trainers at least will not upload your hours unless you engage with the training (but they will still charge you), so I’d leave your headphones and newspaper in your bag.

Yes but I will be on holiday during that period

And see you in court or feel my steel tow capper or I will hold the place up untill the police can remove me, rather then dance to there tunes

There is an exemption for driving without a DQC and that is for around 20 days after completing the required training and waiting for it to arrive

Instructor is called Karen, and its the cheapest course I found,Karen she is a lovely person.

See if an instructor didn’t upload your hours because you didn’t “engage” in the 7 hour talk about pish you would honestly flip.
