Evening lads and lasses.
It’s that time spending ages looking for a better quote.
Went to direct line for my car put my occupation as “HGV driver” got a quote then had an email from Confused.com about our occupation went back to direct line put my occupation as "driver (lorry/bus) " and guess what exactly the same details came back £240 cheaper couldn’t believe it.

Just a thought if its insurance time.

i got a similar result by changing hgv driver to delivery driver :slight_smile: .you would have thought a “professional” driver would be a better risk ? but apparently its worked out on averages IE the more miles you drive the more likely you are to have a bump :question:

Try these, been discussed on here loads of times, they specialise in insuring HGV drivers for their private cars. I think I paid £205 last year.
