There are too many trucks on the road trying to compete for too little work, until they make transport a more difficult game to enter instead of having Tom ■■■■ and Harry Consulting working for 20 different companies.
If you purport to be a manager, manage and hold a CPC. Every depot should have at least one competent person, every manager should be limited to 50 vehicles or possibly less, raise the financial standing,
Once we have this we can concentrate on consignor liability, a driver is overloaded, the manager gets done, a driver exceeds his hours, the manager gets done…
what the [zb] are you lot going on about. they will pay good money if you tell them to.
they will all try it on, of course they will. but they won’t pay £500 for spain is ■■■■■■■■. i get good money for what i do. and if they said they were paying less than £600 for a weeks work, then it’s simple, get someone else.
they won’t get someone else, if you’re any good at your job.
