Our lad may have a new job to start in Wetherby and a daily commute isnt feasible (1000 miles a week) so if anyone knows of a cheap B&B for 4 (weekday nights or wants a clean house-trained lodger id appreciate a heads up

I might know of somewhere after Christmas near Wetherby, but bit of a long shot at the moment really.
May i suggest using hostels.They have all aged groups.
The kitchens are shared and lounge areas to have a chat.
Rooms can be single occupancy to 10 or more in a dormitory.
But snoring and hitchers packing suit cases at 3 am with the lights on is annoying.
Then they talk loudly.
On my travels around the world i used hostel booking websites.Very cheap.
There are locker rooms to secure bags and safes for valubles.
The showers are clean.
I stayed in Naples.A nice girl asked to spend the day with her.I rented a car so declined her offer but massaged her feet on the sofa together.
hes got the offer “subject to references” so 50/50 at the moment

Tell him to buy a camper van I knew a few lads that got a job at a printers doing 4 on 4 off days then nights and they both bought them to travel in to work.
The factory had showers so they had it all really.
hes 21, couldnt get insurance to drive my camper, or my taxi…
hes got 4 nights B&B in Wetherby for £120 a time, he should be on nights soon and B&B’s cant cope with night shift workers so a room share/lodging would suit best…a ■■■ mad mature landlady with a ■■■ 19 year old daughter could tempt him too
