Change of scenery!

Tomorrow I shall be frequenting a different part of the country for a change. Tipping at Frampton on Severn in morning and then going to Cemex at Wickwar for a load of stone to Ducklington (anyone know where either of these are?). Tip the stone then down to CA Stevens at Andover for a load of feed to go back north. If you’re on a similar route I’m in a white MAN with Matthew Watson written on it! Giz a flash!

Cemex Wickwar is off the M5 southbound at J14, hang a left, up the hill and along the straight to the new roundabout, turn right then first left ( signposted Wickwar, Yate and Chipping Sodbury - ignore the weight limit warnings, you won’t be going into it… ), down there about a mile or so and the main gate is on the right…

For Ducklington I would possibly come out the same way and go back up the M5 as far as J11a, turn right and pick up the A40 but someone with more knowledge would certainly know better than me…

Bang on directions :sunglasses: … onto weighbridge then follow down into quarry , you shouldn’t be in long , they are pretty quick in there .
I’m off to Durrington , not far from Andover , for an 11am tip . I’ll be in a Cemex tanker but god only knows which one as I’m cab hopping atm

by the way …when you go up that big hill after getting off at jct 14 , spare a thought for me , I have to pull 44t up that and in the wet it get’s interesting quickly :open_mouth:

My run is past Andover, I’ll keep an eye for you.

Frampton on Severn is a nice little village, the industrial estate is down by the river or canal.
Well it was about 15 years ago when I loaded/tipped there.

Ditto,Framton is only a tiny place with a little industrial estate, where ever your going you won’t miss it,because when you get to the canal your met with a weight limit, used to tip at Lafarge a couple of times a week.
