Cerezuela - Spain

I think the Spanish hauliers are really slack, passed Argos’ yard there last week on the way to our place and it was full, so was Paconsas yard, When i say full I mean over 50 + Trucks and Fridges just sat there. How do they pay for that!!

I did notice this firm here

transportescerezuela.com/

just passed a couple on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct, so for those livin in Spain an lookin may be worth a bell ? the job application form is here

transportescerezuela.com/bolsa.aspx

Im happy to help ye write it in Spanish if ye stuck but obviously you do need to be to speak some Spanish,

Gud luck now

transportes cerezuela, I have to say its full of bulgarian drivers work for them… Have seen them & spoke them at Heston MSA with Willi Betz BG trucks groups for weekend…

Also lots of Spainish Hauliers companies use the bulgarian drivers because they got a special work visa for enter the spain and more cheaper than spainish or polish drivers :frowning:

Don,t know if its true but i,ve heard 25% of the trucks are now parked up in Spain, the roads over here are very quiet not the norm.Ran up from Albacete to Ocana N301 the other day not many trucks at all and even the resturants were empty…

Spain is very quiet but there are differences from region to region and reports vary depending upon with whom you speak but in general between 25% and 30% of the Spanish fleet is standing still and in the south this can climb to an estimated 60% but this will improve shortly when the fruit season begins, amny of the fleets in Spain only operate at full strength during the fruit season and park up everything up for nearly 6 months of the year.
In the north in the Basque region things have started to pick up but there is still a lot less traffic than usual.
Another interesting point is that goods going from other European countries to Spain have also suffered a drastic decline which has led to Spanish trucks being parked up all over the place for days on end.

Not just talking frigo traffic parked up, car transporters, tippers and general haulage are suffering.spent 2 days waiting at Santander port the other week for a load nice…but its the same everwhere Taragona,Valencia and a lovely 4 days in Rivesaltes (fr)even nicer, hope it gets better running out of books and dvd,s

I get anything between 25 & 50 trailers a week to reload.
I can fill them yes and can make them pay just but it is getting more difficult each week.
Up until now the longest that a vehicle has had to wait for a reload has been from 11.00 till the next morning.
I get people phoning up with loads on offer at ridiculous bloody prices and they get annoyed when I say that before I load at that price I will send the trailer back to Holland empty.
