Hi, hopefully this won’t break any forum rules on advertising, I don’t think its an advert anyway, but I do work for SNAP.
I thought it would be useful information for some of you anyway,
We have started working with a new site on the Isle of Dogs, room for about 30 vehicles a night, and £12.50 a night at the moment.
You do have to have a SNAP Account to use it, but I often read this forum and I know quite a lot of you do have accounts with us.
The address is:
Westferry Printworks
235 Westferry Road
Isle of Dogs
E14 8NX
They have a shower and toilet there and a small rec room, and the security is particularly good with regular site patrols.
It’s a new site just trying to get off the ground, and not many drivers know about it yet, so hopefully a post here will help spread the word a little bit. I was just talking to the site owner over the phone and he spoke to a handful of drivers who stayed there last night and they were all very pleased with the security and the pricing, so we are hoping it will be a useful site for drivers.
Can’t argue with £12.50 a night in central London!
Hi, hopefully this won’t break any forum rules on trolling, I don’t think im a troll anyway, but I do a bit of lite trolling occasionally.
Stopped there last night absolute ■■■■ hole, avoid like the plague. Other drivers I spoke to said they where happy with the price as it was SNAP only meaning they dont bloody pay a penny. (Im makin this paragraph up)
Seriously though thanks for the info if the forum admin are OK with this idea it would be good if new SNAP locations where posted here as a lot of us work for companies that pay the parking fees for their vehicles.
“I hope this doesn’t breach any rules on advertising, so here is an advert”
Of course it does, you need approval to advertise on here. Especially when advertising ■■■■ holes.
HTH
To be honest, drivers couldn’t care less about cost, especially on Snap as they are not paying upfront. Drivers require decent facilities. A gravel yard with spaces for 30 vehicles is no good to man nor beast, 30 spaces in central london will be gone in no time.
To most people in London, anything inside the circular road is central London, to most in the home counties it’s anything inside the 25, and to most northerners, central London is anything between Milton Keynes and Brighton
OVLOV JAY:

So true, here’s a conversation I have had so many times over the years that I have lost count…

Him- Och aye the noo, where are you from?
Me- Ramsgate, in Kent.
Him- So you’re a Cockney then?
Never heard it that far away but usually anyone from the north assumes your a cockney if your from London not from within the sound of the bells of St Mary le bow church.
Mind you I spouse it’s the same as us calling anyone with a north east accent a geordie
As mentioned previously, according to the aviation industry then Southend is London!
and maybe the OP shouldn’t have stated central London, but fair play to him, he’s simply letting us know that there is some parking near to London. We might never know about this if he didn’t post on here, and yes, you might arrive there at 8 o’clock and find it full up, but at least you know about it, and it’s better than having bugger all else round there or there would be 30 trucks looking for a slot for the night.
Why moan at the Op, he is trying his best at offering a service that is needed, with a high value load, some of you lot would sleep in a layby, then cry the curtains are slashed and diesel stolen.
Thank you Sam, I have spread the word for you, with Clacket Lane at thirty quid to park, Isle of Dogs is a bargain.
There are transport links to the city if our foreign cousins fancy some sightseeing on their forty five off.
