Cement Truck Driver Wage

Looking for some information on the going rate for a Cement Truck Driver, i have got no clue about this and am starting a new job on monday driving these, the money has not been talked about yet, and i like to have a ball park figure for negotiations, hope someone can give me a hint in the right direction.

This is one of those “How long is a piece of string?” questions. The going rate will depend more upon where you are than what you are doing. In some areas, Minimum Wage might be the going rate.

Im on about £10 an hour the now for driving Road Sweepers, im in scotland and was assured this was a better job with the assumption of better pay. just dont know if im lucky with the rate im getting for driving the sweepers.

It depends if your talking about a cement powder tanker for a company like lafarge or a mixer driver. The latter is unlikely to be better than £10 a hour.

Why take a job without sorting cash out, your now leaving a job for God knows what.phone the gaffer and ask bud asap

Thanks starting the job in 3 mins :open_mouth: see what the outcome is.

Maybe they think you will do it for free
